We’re running a 24-7 Prayer Room here: a physical space where we’ll all take turns praying to create an unbroken chain of prayer all week
No one under the age of 18 should attend without an adult.
Do not attend unless you carry a mobile phone (or are with someone who does).
If you have a medical condition that may cause sudden illness, please do not attend alone.
Emergency contact numbers are displayed near the entrance. Keep these handy.
Drinking water and cups are provided in the lounge.
Ideally, yes – there’s something powerful about people gathering in person to pray. Ancient Celts used the phrase “thin places” to describe where the veil between heaven and earth becomes so thin that prayer flows easily, and the still, small voice of God is heard clearly.
As the room begins to fill with people’s prayers and heart cries, it can reveal what God is doing in the lives of our church and helps with accountability as you pass the baton of 24 hour prayer.
A Pilgrimage to a prayer room is part of the 24-7 prayer experience.
You should bring a mobile phone, just incase you need to contact someone while there’s no one else in the building (contact numbers are displayed in the prayer room).
You could also bring your own bible and a note book, you might find you want to record something God says or an account of your experience — we’d love to hear about it too.
There will be drinking water available in the prayer room, but you may want to bring your own refreshments too.
It may depend on what you consider prayer to be. Rather than feeling like you need to be speaking for an entire hour we encourage you to explore practices such as creative adoration, contemplation, silent prayer, simply sitting in the presence of God with no where to rush too. The prayer room is filled with ideas, prompts, and activities. People often feel like an hour isn’t enough.

This September from 1 -7 is the Global Week of 24-7 Prayer and the vision is simple but powerful: to see non-stop prayer in every nation on earth, lifting up the name of Jesus and asking God to move across the world.
The prayer room is a creative prayer space that enables a chain of unbroken day and night prayer, bringing friends, communities and churches together to seek the presence of God. The lounge in room 1 is going to be a dedicated prayer room for the week. You can book a slot now to come and pray. More details will be available soon about accessing the space and how it works.
You can book for an hour or more, you can come on your own or with others, perhaps you could book for when your connect group usually meets.
