Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, 10am–12noon, our community coffee lounge opens its doors to anyone who wants to come. With great coffee, hot chocolate, and homemade cakes, it's a space where everyone is welcome — no strings attached.
Our aim goes beyond a great cup of coffee. The Bretton Lounge exists to provide a welcoming space for friendship, community engagement and support, and practical assistance and reassurance.
We know that loneliness and isolation are real challenges in our neighbourhood. The Lounge is a place where those things begin to be undone — through conversation, laughter, and simply being known by name.
Many who come find that the connections they make here grow into lasting friendships, and that the support they receive helps them face whatever life brings.
During Bretton Lounge, Peterborough Foodbank vouchers are also available for anyone in need of emergency food support.
